About Hillrise Audio
Hillrise Audio is Liam, an audio producer and sound engineer with over a decade of experience.
Liam first started creating sound at secondary school, where he picked up a guitar and began writing his own music. In retrospect, music was therapeutic and helped him process his emotions. At the time, he just thought it made him look cool.
He studied Neuroscience at the University of Bristol. Whilst a fascinating subject, Liam felt a lingering need to return to music. After graduating, he took a gap year and learnt everything he could about music production.
Liam started to realise how much audio and sound, not just in its musical form, but in its ability to sell and tell stories, was incredibly important to not just him, but everyone.
He knew he wanted to find his way into audio production. After working a bunch of day jobs while he honed his skills, Liam took the leap and started Hillrise Audio.
Now he works in audio across the podcast, audiobook, and guided meditation world, as well as creating music as a composer and sound designer.
Liam has continued to refine his skills and build his business over the past five years, picking up big clients like Penguin, Bart Warsaw, and Eben Britton along the way.
Liam believes in the power of the human voice and helps it to tell stories. He’s looking for more opportunities to create soundscapes and scores to even further involve himself in the emotive and narrative power of sound.
He knows how important music and sound is in helping people find more joy in their lives. If you need help with telling your story through audio, get in touch with him today.
